Daniel Tarrazó-Serrano (València, 1987), was graduated in 2012 with a B.Sc. in telecommunications engineering with a specialization in sound and image and M.Sc. in Acoustics in 2013 at Universitat Politècnica de València. He obtained two awards while he was studying; Academic Award in 2nd course and Excellence Student Award for obtaining the best results. In 2014 he got his second B.Sc. in telecommunications systems. He obtained M.Sc. in biomedical engineering at Universitat de València & Universitat Politècnica de València in 2016.
He started his Ph.D. in 2017 as senior researcher at Physics Technologies Center. His research line has been developed in Applied Acoustics area, particularly in Ultrasonics. He was collaborating professor in Applied Physics Department in Universitat Politècnica de València. He was visiting research at School of Non-Destructive Testing and Security (National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University) located in Siberia, Russia.
He obtained in 2020 the title of Doctor Cum Laude with mention to extraordinary award for his thesis framed in «Technologies for Health and Welfare» Ph.D. programme entitled «Design, modelling, characterization and implementation of acoustic lenses for modulation of ultrasound beams.»
